Welcome to the Elderly in Oryol project.
The project “Rendering Community-based Services for Elderly People in Oryol Region” is implemented by Yanos International (The Netherlands) and the Russian Red Cross together with the “Stichting Laurens Wonen Diensten & Zorg (Regio Noord Oost)” in Rotterdam and the “Stichting De Zevenster” in Zuidplas (both of The Netherlands). The project is financially supported by the Social Transformation Programme (Matra) of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The overall objectives of this project are 1) to empower elderly people encouraging them to be as self-sufficient as possible and 2) to improve care and support services at community level based on needs of and capacities for elderly in the Russian Federation.
